Sequoyah's Logan's Legacy (CGC) -- Logan is one of our most popular males and one of our best breeding dogs.  He is a large, big-boned shepherd weighing about 100 pounds with an imposing presence.  He has good pigment and a very strong head.  He is deep-chested with good angulation.  His temperament is superb with gun sureness and steady nerves.  He has good courage, fighting drive, and hardness.  He has been OFA certified good on hips and elbows as well as scoring in the top 1 percent of German Shepherds on PennHip.  He has been chosen as a breeding male because of his superb orthopedic structure.  Unfortunately for him, I was unable to spend as much time titling him when I acquired him.  He came on the scene at about the same time I was really getting started in a new veterinary partnership and just did not have the time to spend in competitions and trials.  But, nevertheless, I have been very pleased with his disposition, his drives, and his accomplishments.   He has both civil and ball drive.  And, I would feel just as comfortable turning him loose in a classroom of kindergarten kids as I would taking him with me as a protector when I am called out on long nights with after hour emergencies. What he has not be able to accomplish (because of me), we have seen his progeny accomplish.  He currently has many sons and daughters competing in various dog sports.

His father was Cas v Svenshome, imported from the Netherlands with VH3, IPO3, SchH3 background.  He is one of the grandsons of  the great SG Lord vom Gleisdreieck (SCHH3 ( V - DDR-MS ) FH3 Kkl 1) and SG Robby vom Glockeneck (SchH3/FH/IP3).

REX Stephens  ...  a Sequoyah's Raven/Logan Puppy

We have just made our latest and maybe greatest addition yet.  He is a strong, fast, hardy male with great pigment and strong drive.  He is a quick learner and very willing.  We have great expectations for him.  We are currently in the process of acquiring a female that will be his equal in drive and intelligence.  He has a strong head and superb bone structure.  His PennHips have just come back and are some of the best scores we have ever heard of in ANY German Shepherd (surpassed only by our own "Tigress".   Keep your eyes open for his upcoming pedigree and certifications.......

Sequoyah's Final Judgment (CGC, FO, PA, P1(2), PD1ob (2),  titled):   Judge is our most active addition.  He has just past his Penn Hip certification and has scored very high indeed.  He ranks in the top 20% of the German Shepherds as having some the the best hips around, especially for his size!  (He is approaching 95 pounds.)  He is just recently sired his first litter and we are following them closely to see how they turned out.  We have great expectations for him and his offspring.  He is the son of Logan and Santa Rio.  I can't wait for him to get a little older -- his energy is driving me CRAZY!  He is perpetual motion, jumping in and out of the back of the truck.  (He will jump through the window too, if you will leave it down for him.)  He has obtain both his Family Obedience and Protection Alert title in September 2007 and his Protection Dog 1 title in May of 2008.  He trialed again in June of 2008 for his first Police Dog obedience title and will compete in October of 2008 for his PD1 protection title.  Check out his Hips scores and titles below by clicking on the link.

Nicholas is our biggest breeding male.  He getting ready to turn 3 years old (November, 2007).  He will be getting his OFA and PennHips prior to breeding.  His grandfathers are Taco t' Palmaleinehof of Belgium and Cas v Svenshome of the Netherlands.  Both of these dogs are strong Schutzhund dogs and have passed on their tenacity to this grandson.  He is showing great potential as he grows and matures.  He is an excellent guard dog refusing to relinquish ground for any reason even at his age.  He is vigilant of his territory and knows even the movements of the resident frogs -- however, he does have a tendency to play a little too rough with them.  With all of his toughness though, he is gentle and accepting of leadership and even allows cats and ducks to peaceably co-exist within the security of his watchful eye.

Remington's Justice -- Remington is a personal favorite of most that come to visit.  He has a winning personality and gentle spirit.  He takes leadership well and is always aiming to please.  He is a dark male with good markings.  He is deep-chested and weighs in at 90-95 pounds.  He has already  been OFA hip and elbow x-rayed as well as PennHip certified.  Remington has also completed his basic obedience and protection training and is currently serving as a personal protection dog in Flinstone, Georgia.

Sequoyah's Jeb of Auburn  -- Jeb is a dark red sable and oldest breeding male born in May of 1997.  He has a strong head, deep chest, rich pigment and steady temperament.  He has great courage and has been a loyal companion and watch dog for my parents for 10 years now.  He is excellent in obedience work with quick responses and focus.  He is beautiful to watch and has an imposing presence.  We recently re-xrayed his hips in October 2007.  He, at 10 years of age and weighing nearly 100 pounds, surveyed out in the top 20% of the German Shepherd Breed.  He will be breeding Tigress in February of 2008, and will be retiring from stud service shortly thereafter.  We are all very excited about this upcoming litter.   Look for updates on this litter to be posted on the Upcoming Litters page.
